Curator Yuko Hasegawa delivered a lecture entitled “Japanese Contemporary Art from the MOT Collection in the context of Pop Art” followed by a discussion moderated by curator Nirith Nelson. The lecture was structured around four main themes: Altering Reality and Perception, The Influence of Pop Art, Technology in Modern Life, and One’s Place in the World.

Hasegawa visited Israel as part of an Artis independent research trip.
