Images across the site may not have a text alternative. Decorative images, as defined in https://www.w3.org/WAI/tutorials/images/decorative/ (e.g. a group of people illustrating a meeting taking place) do not have alternative descriptions. We are working on adding more descriptions to images that do not fall under the definition of decorative images, such as ones showing artworks or exhibitions.
