Artis and MOCA presented an exhibition tour and discussion with senior curator Philipp Kaiser and artist Joshua Neustein of Ends of the Earth: Land Art to 1974, the first large-scale, historical exhibition to deal broadly with Land art. The talk focused on this important conceptual moment from the early 1970s in Israel when many artists began to leave institutions to work outdoors. In addition to Neustein, works by Israeli artists Pinchas Cohen-Gan, Micha Ullman, and Avital Geva were included. Ends of the Earth placed these Israeli artists for the first time within the global context of Land art.
