Eyal Danon, director and chief curator of the Israeli Center for Digital Art in Holon and Reem Fadda, associate curator of Middle Eastern Art, Abu Dhabi Project, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation discussed two projects: Liminal Spaces, a unique example of a joint Palestinian-Israeli artistic collaboration involving the Israeli Center for Digital Art, and The Jessy Cohen Project, a community-based initiative in the immigrant neighborhood of Jessy Cohen, Holon. Danon and Fadda examined the connections between these projects as part of the Israeli Center for Digital Art’s sociopolitical curatorial program, and discussed their attempts to respond responsibly and constructively to the campaign for the cultural and academic boycott against Israel.
