Artist Penny Hes Yassour gave a special presentation of her work and led a tour of her solo exhibition, “I Am Writing You Tomorrow,” at the University of Southern California’s Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena (March 28–August 24, 2014). Yassour’s installation was inspired by Chinese ink painting and calligraphy and explored the boundaries between word and image, challenging viewers to consider how meaning is constructed and conveyed in visual art.
