Artist Bio
Navot Miller portrays scenes from his life in his paintings—who he’s with, where he’s been, and what lingers after. Experiences of intimacy and heartache are central to Miller’s work, and are woven into the relationships and places that he paints. The people that he spends time with often become the subjects of his paintings—fragments of shared trips, nights, and moments. Miller uses bright colors in his works, in contrast to his subjects that carry a sense of longing. Focusing on subjects that are genuine and personal, Miller gained recognition for capturing the emotional depth of everyday moments. Miller is based in New York and Berlin.
