“(De)constructing Borders,” the first group exhibition of contemporary artists from Israel in Dnepr, was curated by Maria Veits for the annual Construction Arts Festival. The show focused on the questions of territorial conflicts, political mapping, and power relations. The exhibition drew on the current political and cultural concerns in Dnepr, the largest city in proximity to the occupied Ukrainian territories and Crimean annexation, seeing links between these two different contexts which include some points of contact. Participating artists: Yossi Atia and Itamar Rose, Nir Evron, Ohad Fishof, Daniel Kiczales, Dana Levy, Mai Omer, Nira Pereg, Rona Yeffman and Tanja Schlander, and Tamir Zadok.
