Belongings is a multidisciplinary installation based on an ethnographic expedition to uncover an “authentic” Jewish way of living, led by writer S. Ansky in the Pale of Settlement from 1912–14. Using photography, video, archival materials, and performance, Latzman re-creates the expedition in the gallery space, exploring the relations between nationality and displacement. Belongings was presented in a solo show at the Center For Digital Art, Holon in 2018.
