“The Global Political Crisis” presents a suite of new works by artist Zoya Cherkassky, marking the artist’s first U.S. institutional exhibition since her relocation from Israel to New York in 2025; and it features an accompanying monographic publication scheduled to be published in spring 2026. The exhibition brings together four large paintings, two sculptures, and seventy drawings in Cherkassky’s signature diaristic style, all made in 2024-2025. The works included in this exhibition are explicit and erotic in content, referencing elemental human relation and interaction, and symbolizing the importance of pleasure in trying times.
