Thicket (2016) by consists of 10,000 headphones composing a huge acoustic cloud, the installation is at the crossroads of sound and image. Thicket floods the space with humming white particles emitting sound, which joins the sounds emerging from the balcony of the gallery. The sounds are an invitation to investigate the space, exposing a unique acoustic phenomenon that comes to life as the audience moves around the room. The exhibition was accompanied by three performances by Dunietz and other collaborators using the installation, and the Centre Pompidou later acquired the work for its permanent collection.
