The Bedouin Visual Archive

Grantees
Miki Kratsman
2015
Project Grant

For over 30 years, Miki Kratsman has been documenting the evolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Continuing Kratsman’s long-term project The Bedouin Visual Archive, Kratsman will build an online archive allowing viewers to follow the journey/move of the Bedouin communities in Israel. The Bedouin Visual Archive raises awareness to the rights violations of the Bedouin and gives voice to their silenced histories and claims on the land. The Archive is an ambitious step in the Negev Coexistence Forum (NCF) Human Rights Campaign. The platform will be trilingual and one of a kind in terms of its contribution to activism, research, art, and policymaking
