During a residency at Hyde Park Art Center in Chicago in 2012, Nadav Assor collaborated with musician and composer Daniel Davidovsky on Stripping, a kinetic audio-video performance piece with sounds sourced from Chicago and Tel Aviv. The work enacted a subjective mapping and mediation of local urban space. The performance re-interpreted and complemented Assor’s video installation, Strip / Lakeshore East, which was on view on at the same time.
