Mika Rottenberg’s first major exhibition in Canada presents her newest work, Spaghetti Blockchain (2019), co-commissioned by MOCA Toronto and the New Museum in New York, alongside other major projects such as NoNoseKnows (2015), Sneeze (2012), and Cosmic Generator (2017). These ambitious installations combine film, architectural installation, and sculpture to explore ideas of labor and the production of value in the contemporary hyper-capitalist world. The MOCA Toronto presentation was curated by November Paynter, and a previous iteration of the show was presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. In 2021, the show travels to the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal.
