Artist Bio

Nivi Alroy is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in drawing, sculpture, animation, and installation. Her work has been showcased in museums, galleries, and site-specific installations both in Israel and internationally. Alroy served as the visiting artist at The Hebrew University’s Safra campus of Mathematics and Life Sciences, Jerusalem. She has received fellowships and awards, including two Israeli Lottery grants, the Ahuvi Most Promising Artist award, the Outset Contemporary Art Fund grant, the Asylum Arts grant, and the AICF fellowship. She has participated in residency programs in New York, including the Triangle Artists’ Workshop, A.I.R. Gallery residency, and The Asylum Alumni Retreat. In the fall of 2026, Alroy will begin a tenure as a guest artist at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, where she will continue to explore the intersections of art and science through her work and collaborate with researchers.
