Artist Bio

Netta Weiser is a Berlin-based artist and choreographer working across performance, sound installation, and experimental radio. In 2019, she founded Radio-Choreography, a long-term artistic research project exploring the transformation of dance into sound, the relationship between live broadcasting and muted histories, and collective listening as a choreographic practice. Weiser’s international presentations include Akademie der Künste, Berlin; KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin; Tanzquartier Wien, Vienna; Badischer Kunstverein Karlsruhe, Germany; University of Cambridge; Tanznacht Berlin; Onassis Stegi, Athens; Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), Cologne; TONSPUR Micro Museum for Sound at the MQ Vienna; Suzanne Dellal Centre for Dance, Tel Aviv; Zwerglgarten Pavilion, Salzburg; and Villa Medici, Rome.

In 2021, Weiser was a fellow at the Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the Akademie der Künste Berlin, and in 2025–26 at the VALIE EXPORT Center in Linz. She also broadcasts a monthly radio show on reboot.fm, an artist-run radio station in Berlin.
