Curated as part of an ongoing research project by Boaz Levin and Marianna Liosi, “Regarding Spectatorship: Revolt and the Distant Observer” explored the notion of mediated political spectatorship. The exhibition presented a variety of artworks by artists from different generations, as well as musical, literary, journalistic, and cinematic documents, offering the viewer an analysis of diverse, and at times contradictory forms of spectatorship in relation to political events. Artists included in the show were Gilad Baram and David Reeb, as well as Harun Farocki, Sharon Hayes, Ken Lum, and Martha Rosler, among others.
