Independent writer and curatorial seminar alum Marisa Mazria Katz and journalist Mairav Zonszein traveled to Israel to research how arts professionals are working under the current constraints on free expression. They published an article titled “Israel’s War on Culture” in The New York Review of Books, which offers a portrait of the ways in which art listens, transmutes, and endures under siege.
