Designed by Berlin-based architect Assaf Kimmel, the Performa Hub is a specially commissioned architectural space that hosted talks, performances, sound installations, screenings, and community gatherings throughout the 2023 Performa Biennial. The hub is a multipurpose space, serving as a meeting point for the public to connect and recharge. Envisioned as a sequence of connectable discrete zones, the highly versatile, mixed-use space challenges the notion of what a performing arts venue can be.
