Artist Bio

For over a decade, artist-duo Noy and Tamir have shared a creative practice characterized by critical thinking, expressions of complex identity, laborious craftsmanship, dark humor, and large-scale installations. As artists, activists, and educators, their collective practice further extends to social-artistic projects, artist-led exhibitions, academic lectures, workshops, and collaborative curation. In addition to their participation in numerous international group exhibitions, Noy & Tamir’s solo exhibitions include: The Israeli Center for Digital Art, Holon; Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art; Petah Tikva Museum of Art; Barbur Gallery, Jerusalem; the ACC Gallerie, Weimar, Germany; Genia Schreiber University Art Gallery, Tel Aviv University; Midrasha Gallery, Tel Aviv; and Rosenfeld Gallery, Tel Aviv.
