In her first solo exhibition in New York, artist Noa Yekutieli presents new sculptural works and two-dimensional cut-paper pieces that contemplate issues of displacement and a fractured sense of identity. In the show, Noa combines objects, crafts, and traditional techniques to nurture a sense of belonging.
Reflecting on immigration and destruction as natural patterns of renewal and change, the works on view create a space of unity and dissonance in which viewers question their own notions of history and place.
