Maayan Amir and Ruti Sela were part of a panel at the California Institute of Technology focused on the power of mapping and remote sensing technology historically and today. Amir and Sela discussed Exterritory Project, an exhibition held on a sailboat in extraterritorial waters between Israel and Gaza, and their book, Extraterritorialities in Occupied Worlds. The other panelists were data visualization engineer Robert Simmon and Nicolas Wey-Gomez, professor of history at Caltech. Artis provided support for the two artists to participate in the panel.
