Comprised of painters Zoya Cherkassky, Olga Kundina, Anna Lukashevsky, Asya Lukin and Natalia Zourabova, the New Barbizon is a collective of female painters from the former USSR. “Individually Collective”―a concept of shared creativity in which each member of a group maintains her individual voice—is at the heart of the New Barbizon’s exhibition at the Sighnaghi Museum (National Georgian Museum). The exhibition features work by select members of the New Barbizon from the past decade.
