Guy Ben Ner’s solo exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Luzern features a comprehensive overview of the artist’s practice over three decades. The exhibition is the first large-scale presentation of Ben Ner’s work in Switzerland, and includes a selection of the artist’s most iconic films, along with a series of recent works on paper. Guy Ben Ner’s art-making practice oscillates between public and private, fantasy and politics, ambiguity and concrete. His work engages with a neoliberal economy to humorously tackle the trappings of society, its inner workings, and mechanisms.
