The mixed-media installation is comprised of speakers, amplifiers, and guitar strings, making it a musical instrument and sculptural installation at once. Greater New York was organized by Klaus Biesenbach, director of MoMA PS1 and chief curator at large at The Museum of Modern Art; Connie Butler, the Robert Lehman Foundation Chief Curator of Drawings, The Museum of Modern Art; and Neville Wakefield, MoMA PS1 senior curatorial advisor.
