An experimental film shot in 16mm, Erasures probes the conceptual questions that pertain to the act of drawing and erasure as a meditation on the different components of the human experience. A seminal work in Joshua Neustein’s oeuvre, and part of the canon of contemporary art from Israel at large, the work depicts the artist’s hand as it sketches and erases words and symbols at the same time.
