Kremer’s photographs document the imprint of military activity on Israeli landscape and society. The exhibition at Julie Saul Gallery, Kremer’s first solo show in New York, featured ten large-scale color photographs o that collectively make up a vision of contemporary Israel, from the Separation Wall to abandoned military camps. As Kremer as stated, “my goal is to reveal how every piece of land has become infected with loaded sediments of the ongoing conflict.” The exhibition was accompanied by a hardcover monograph published by Dewi Lewis titled Infected Landscape: Israel, Broken Promised Land.
