Artistic duo Shahar Marcus (Israel) and Nezaket Ekici (Turkey) present their research project TBQ, the Trilogy at Artisterium 14 / 2021, Tbilisi Annual International Contemporary Art Exhibition and Art Events, an annual art event composed of international exhibitions, individual art projects, and educational and cultural programs. TBQ, the Trilogy is an installation consisting of three performance-based video works that explores how individuals dedicate themselves to their beliefs. Specifically, the project examines how the three Abrahamic faiths adhere to the belief that a holy book will remain holy for all eternity, and thus it requires special handling. The artist’s contribution to the festival is curated by Drorit Gur Arie and is exhibited at the Georgian National Museum, Tbilisi History Museum.
