Case in Point: Jens Hoffmann

Artis and the Center for Contemporary Art presented an evening with Jens Hoffmann, who spoke about his idea of the exhibition as a dramatic construction and the advantages and disadvantages of theatricality in the gallery space. He focused on a trilogy of exhibitions he curated in San Francisco at the CCA Wattis Institute that were based on three iconic American novels: The Wizard of Oz (2009), Moby Dick (2010) and Huckleberry Finn (2011).
