Tamar Latzman: Redemption
2017
Project

Project

Redemption is a multidisciplinary installation based on an ethnographic expedition to uncover an “authentic” Jewish way of living, led by writer S. Ansky in the Pale of Settlement from 1912-1914. Using photography, video, archival materials and performance, Latzman re-creates the expedition in the gallery space, exploring the relations between nationality and displacement.
