London-based artist Ofri Cnaani addresses the tension between the age-old occult and the omniscient digital world through an examination of the notion and practices of mediation. Her works take the form of performance, installation and print, and often draw from the protocols and procedures of museum curation and education. This exhibition, presented at Triskel Arts Centre , addresses people’s ‘algorithmic fate’, as visualised through words, technological devices, systems of product placement and networks of personal and social connections. The artist considers people’s potential future through their metadata, both provided to and collected by companies, in
the context of e-capitalism.
