During his residency at International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), David Adika researched the Statue of Liberty, as a sign and icon, and explored colors used in New York City architecture and their relationship to value and socioeconomic class.
During his time at ISCP, Adika also lectured at Columbia University, and conducted studio visits with their MFA students. Adika presented his work at an artist talk during an open studios event at ISCP.
